The deal

These terms govern your use of the I Got Clout website and mobile game (“the Game”), operated by Olinations. By reserving a handle, creating an account, or playing, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Game.

Your account & handle

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live).
One account per person. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself.
Handles are reserved on a first-come basis. Handles that are offensive, impersonate others, or infringe trademarks may be reclaimed or renamed at our discretion.
Waitlist position and founder tiers are perks, not purchases — they have no monetary value.

The game is satire

I Got Clout is a satirical game about internet fame. Followers, money, fame tiers, cancellations, and everything else in the Game are fictional game mechanics. In-game currency and followers are not real money, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out, and have no value outside the Game.

Purchases

In-app purchases (boosters, recoveries, and similar items) are processed by Apple or Google under their payment terms. Refunds follow the policies of the store you purchased through.
Purchased items are a license to use digital content in the Game, not property.
If we discontinue the Game, unused virtual items are not refundable except where required by law.

Fair play

Don’t cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, manipulate leaderboards or referrals, scrape the service, or interfere with other players. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do, including forfeiting in-game progress and items.

Our content

The Game, including its art, code, names, and design, belongs to Olinations or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to play. Don’t copy, resell, or create derivative works from it without permission.

Disclaimers

The Game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, that your progress will never be lost, or that the algorithm will choose you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using the Game and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
